The
Vision: To support our Diocesan Bishop, Priests, Catechetical Leaders,
Catechists and Parents in their efforts to educate and form the children
and youth of the Diocese of Burlington in the Catholic Faith and its traditions.
The
Mission: Our mission is to make known the name of Jesus and nurture the
gift of God's love in the lives of others by helping them to know, love
and serve God in everyday life; understand what it means to be Catholic
by focusing on Catholic identity; and celebrating our Catholic faith through
sacrament within a community of Catholic faithful.
The Goal: The Office
of Catholic Formation's goal is to provide education and formation in
the Catholic Faith by offering a Catechists' Certification Program to
form Catechetical Leaders and Catechists in the Catholic Faith as presented
in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We offer workshops, enrichment,
conferences, and other support services that are designed to empower the
Catechetical Leaders, Catechists and Parents who are called to proclaim,
in both word and witness, the Good News of salvation to our children and
youth.
