of Communications
Mission Statement
It
is the mission of the Apostolate of Communications to employ radio, television,
print, press and cyberspace to present and protect the Good
News of Salvation, and to assist all other diocesan departments
in furthering their ministries.
To
honor this commitment, the Office of Communications dedicates
itself to growth toward Jesus Christ, who is The Way, The Truth
and the Life. We will endeavor to keep our minds, hearts
and souls open to The Truth as it is revealed, and to share
this Truth with fellow workers, Vermont Catholics and the general
public, whether through interpersonal relations or via the mass
media.
We
pray for the ability to trust in Jesus, The Truth Incarnate,
so that we may enjoy the courage to initiate positive action
programs of information, service and evangelization. And
we pray for the humility to leave the glory to God. |
