Presidential Search - Saint Michael's College

On behalf of the Diocese of Burlington, I express to the new President-elect, John J. Neuhauser and to his family our prayerful best wishes upon his selection for this most important leadership position at Saint Michael's College. We also wish President and Mrs. vanderHeyden God's blessings as they prepare to begin a new chapter in their lives. Having served as President at St. Michael's College for ten years, President vanderHeyden, with the support of his dear wife Dana, has given a significant part of his life to the St. Michael College Community. Now looking to the future, we hope the years ahead will bring President and Mrs. vanderHeyden joy, peace and fulfillment.

To the Edmundite Community, the Board of Trustees, the Faculty, Staff and Students at Saint Michael's, the Diocese offers its prayers that the Holy Spirit will guide all their future endeavors to seek the truth in academic achievement, human personal development and most importantly in their relationship with God, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I look forward to a continued dialogue with the new President-elect and the Saint Michael College Community in our mutual efforts to preserve, nurture and enhance the College's rich Catholic tradition and identity, a heritage which has educated so many over the years and helped countless young people find their way in the world and to God.

    February 1st, 2007
