St. Alphonsus Annual Harvest Dinner

PITTSFORD—The St. Alphonsus Annual Harvest Dinner will take place Oct. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. The meal will include turkey with all the fixings, desserts and beverages.  The cost is $12 for adults, $7 for children. Rosary rally

Dinner and auction

BARRE--St. Monica-St. Michael School will host its annual Tuition Assistance Benefit Dinner and Auction of Saturday, Oct. 21, beginning with the 4:15 p.m. Mass at St. Monica Church followed at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and dinner at 6:30. Fifth Sunday Rosary

EAST BARRE—Knights of Columbus Bishop Brady Council #399 at St. Monica Parish invites all members of the community to participate in the organization’s 5th Sunday Rosary program on Sunday, Oct. 29, at St. Cecilia-St. Francis Cabrini Church before the 8:30 a.m. Mass. This rosary service will be conducted using a finger rosary. Knights will be providing all those in attendance with finger rosaries and prayer booklets. The booklet includes a section on how to use the finger rosary and the prayer necessary for praying the rosary. Participants may bring their own rosaries to use during the service.
 

Harvest turkey dinner

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION—There will be a harvest turkey dinner at St. Anthony Church Hall Oct. 14 from 4:45 to 6 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults, $6 for children.
 

Floral arranging

HINESBURG---The St. Jude Parish altar designers are offering a three-part class on flower arranging. If you would like to learn more for personal use or have interest in helping with altar decorating, this may be of interest. Classes will take place every other Thursday evening in November (Nov. 2, 16 and 30) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Each week participants will make an arrangement for personal use or for the altar. 3:30 p.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish Hall.
 

Msgr. Lavalley presentation

VERGENNES--“How Are We All Living the Prodigal Son Story?” Msgr. Richard Lavalley, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church in Winooski, will share thoughts on this topic on Sunday, Oct. 15, at St. Peter Parish hall. His presentation is sponsored as a “Day of Renewal” by the St. Peter’s Ultreya group. It will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the parish hall with a potluck luncheon; bring a dish to share if possible.
