High Mass with the Vermont Choral Union
ESSEX JUNCTION--Our Lady’s Rosary Makers invites anyone interested in making rosaries to join this ministry. The group meets on the fourth Friday of the month from 3 to 5 p.m. Participants will meet Jan. 27. No experience is necessary; instruction and material provided. These rosaries will be sent to missionaries throughout the world. Praise and Worship
RICHFORD—There will be an evening of Praise and Worship at All Saints Church with Bill Gavin, director of youth and young adult ministry for the Diocese of Burlington. The evening will begin with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament by Father Hahr, pastor, at 4 p.m. There will be opportunity for confession. Following the worship service, there will be a potluck meal at Dorion Hall. Bring a dish to share.
Knights of Columbus annual game supper
ESSEX JUNCTION—The Knights of Columbus annual game supper will take place Jan. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Holy Family-St. Lawrence Parish Center, 36 Lincoln St. There will be two seatings -- 5:30-6:30 and 6:30-7:30. Prospective Rice Parent Luncheon
SOUTH BURLINGTON--Parents with students of all ages are invited to learn more about Rice Memorial High School by attending a Prospective Parent Luncheon Feb. 1 from noon to 1 p.m. Gain a unique perspective by dining with a Rice student while hearing from a Rice parent and various administrators. High School for a Day
SOUTH BURLINGTON--Seventh and eighth graders are invited to attend Rice Memorial High School’s annual High School for a Day (HS4D) Part I on Monday, Feb. 6, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Part II for fourth through sixth graders is scheduled for Friday, March 17). HS4D is a unique opportunity for middle school students to familiarize themselves with Rice, the faculty and students. Participants customize their HS4D schedule by choosing from a variety of hands-on activities specially created to highlight Rice's classes, clubs and sports.
