40 Hours Devotion

You are invited to help us to start Lent off with renewed devotion! One of the three pillars of Lent is prayer, and to offer an extra opportunity for meditation and contemplation, St John Vianney Church will host 40 continuous hours of Eucharistic Adoration and prayer. There will be Masses, a penance service, and other special devotions planned during the 40 Hours; please see schedule on our webpage (https://stjohnvianney.vermontcatholic.org/40hours). Adoration will begin after the 5:30 Mass on Thursday, March 3 and continue until Benediction at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 5, so please consider when you might be able to come and spend an hour with our Lord. We are in need of two people for each shift, especially during the overnight hours which are traditionally difficult to cover. Please spread the word to friends and family.
