BENNINGTON– A Day for Church Musicians Regional Music Workshop will take place at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church May 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Diocese of Burlington presents this workshop for liturgical musicians: music directors, cantors, instrumentalists, choir members and folk groups. It will feature time for networking with others and presentations from local musicians on the role of the cantor and a panel to field questions on building and maintaining a music program, breakout sessions on creative keyboarding, the psalms, selecting liturgical music. The day will conclude with a hymn-sing.
