Advent Retreat

An Advent Retreat on Saturday, November 30th will take place in the Essex Catholic Community Parish Center on the Holy Family Church Campus at 36 Lincoln St. Essex Junction.  The retreat will begin with Mass in the church celebrated by Pastor Fr. Charles Ranges, SSE and with Monsignor Richard Lavalley, Pastor Emeritus of St. Francis Church in Winooski, as the homilist.  Refreshments will be served in the parish centers and a presentation on “Our Lady of Advent” by Monsignor Lavalley.  Following the presentation there will be time for silent prayer and the Sacrament of Reconciliation with Monsignor or Fr. Ranges.  Lunch will be served around noontime followed by an Advent prayer mediation lead by Louise Boisvert a consecrated member of the Institute of Our Lady of Life.  The day will end around 3:00pm.  The suggested donation is $20 but all are welcome.  Registration is necessary by calling the parish office 802-878-5331.
