Does the stale air of a library make you feel cozy while paging through interesting literature? Have you been waiting on the right time to finally take up that text you planned to read years ago? Saint Mark’s Catholic Book Club meets the last Saturday of the month, in the parish center library from 10:30 until noon, to discuss good catholic literature. From classic spirituality to a Flannery O’Connor novel, our Catholic Book Club is interested in texts across genres. Please join us today to discuss, “Abandonment to Divine Providence” by Jean-Pierre Caussade. A classic in catholic spirituality, this is a short text, but loaded with helpful insights on the importance of providence in our day-to-day lives. If you are unable to join us for our March discussion, please consider joining us the last Saturday in April to discuss, “The Great Divorce” by C.S. Lewis. Email or call the parish office for more details.
