Evening of Reflection for Communion Ministers & Lectors

This is a part of a series of gatherings for Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion around the Diocese. Extraordinary Ministers and Lectors of the parishes in Waterbury, Stowe, Morrisville, Lowell, Hardwick, Craftsbury, and Greenboro Bend are cordially invited to this evening of reflection. Dinner will be provided. There is no cost to attend.

The evening will consist of

• A presentation on fostering a liturgical spirituality in your faith life.
• For Lectors: A reflection on the lector ministry, discussion on preparing, praying, and practicing the readings, and a review of important techniques for proclamation.
• For Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC): a reflection on the spirituality of sharing the Eucharist, discussion on how to incorporate this spirituality into your role, and a review of general guidelines for EMHCs.

Those who have served for a long time, are new to the ministry, or are interested in learning more about either ministry are invited to attend.
