Many French-Canadian family researchers are familiar with the LAFRANCE database found on the GenealogyQuebec website.  But there are fifteen other valuable research tools on this website plus the powerful link between LAFRANCE and PRDH.  GenealogyQuebec is the “go to” site for French-Canadian records.  Unlike other well-known genealogy research sites, GenealogyQuebec.com has been created, compiled and indexed by French speakers with a French-Canadian focus.  Jane Duchesneau Whitmore will provide an overview of the sixteen tools on the GenealogyQuebec website and provide tips on using these resources efficiently. Classes at the Vermont Genealogy Library are $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Classes run from 10:30 to noon.  The library is located on Hegeman Ave, Fort Ethan Allen, Colchester.  Parking and entrance are across from the State Police. Visit our website vtgenlib.org or call 802-350-1333 for more details.
