The Society of Saint Edmund will be conducting a 5-day Directed Retreat in the Ignatian tradition. Using principles from the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, retreatants are invited to contemplate scripture passages in a silent environment, celebrate daily Eucharist, and meet with a Spiritual Director each day. Spiritual Directors are specifically trained for this type of retreat and will serve as companions and co-discerners of the Spirit during the retreat. Applicants should be comfortable maintaining an atmosphere of silence and be able to share their prayer experience with a Spiritual Director in a daily meeting of about 45 minutes.

LODGING: Each participant will have a private room in one of our cabins. Our cabins are modern, clean, and comfortable. Each cabin has four bedrooms, each with two sets of bunk beds, and three bathrooms. If there are four in each cabin, there will be some sharing of bathrooms. Married couples attending the Retreat will be assigned to separate cabins. Pictures and information regarding our cabins are available at https://www.saintannesshrine.org/cabins.
COST AND APPLICATION: Cost for the retreat is $625 and includes lodging, and all meals. A nonrefundable deposit of $300 is requested to confirm your attendance. The remainder can be paid up to one week prior to the retreat. Application available on our website under Retreats/Upcoming Retreats or give us a call and we can send you one. Completed applications and deposit accepted until May 29, 2026. Thereafter, please contact us to discuss. Payments can be made by check payable to Saint Anne’s Shrine, P.O. Enjoy the serenity of our gorgeous thirty-three acres on the shores of Lake Champlain. There are many opportunities to contemplate and discern in solitude in the incredible beauty of our sacred grounds. Enjoy sunset on our beach, walk the stations in our Way of the Cross Garden, or simply sit and enjoy some quiet time on our sweeping lawns amidst stunning saint statues and sculptures.
