October 10, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The story of Noah and the Flood is one of the Bible’s strangest. The hearts of all were said to be “always nothing but evil” and so God decided to “blot out man… from the face of the ground… for he was sorry that he had made them” (Gen 6:5-6). It’s an unsettling passage! What is the meaning of this Flood? Who is Noah and why is he exempt? How have Christians and Jews understood this story? Talk given by Anthony Rosselli, PhD cand.
