The Dance of Psyche & Spirit — Catholicism and Psychology in Conversation: A Panel Discussion

Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 6pm

A panel discussion with

• Mark Kutolowski, spiritual director, Metanoia of Vermont,
• Derek George, psychotherapist, Vermont Catholic Charities Counseling Service,
• Professor Damian Costello, parishioner at St. Augustine Church, Montpelier.
• Father Timothy Danaher, O.P. director of Aquinas House at Dartmouth College.
• Father Jon Schnobrich of Most Holy Name, Morrisville and Blessed Sacrament, Stowe.

Focus will be on the what the Catholic church calls human formation, on the connection between Catholic faith and spirituality and psychology.  The panel is a group of friends who will focus on our lived experiences in our respective ministries and articulate a Catholic vision of wholeness that integrates psyche and spirit.

There will be time for discussion between attendees and the panel.   There will also be time for informal discussion after the panel.
