To the Heights: Mass on Mount Mansfield with Bishop McDermott

Bishop McDermott will be offering Mass at the Octagon on Mount Mansfield on Monday, October 13, 2025.  Mass will begin approximately at 8:45 AM.  At the end of Mass there will Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and a prayer to consecrate the State of Vermont to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. 

There is a fee to access the Octagon via the Toll Road and space is limited. 

We are asking people to meet no later than 7:30 at the Blessed Sacrament Church parking lot in order to carpool.   

SPECIFICS 

Please be aware that the event requires: 

1. a) light hiking & good mobility
2. b) bring their own chair
3. c) cost: $38 for car/driver, each additional passenger $15
4. d) all vehicles to be heading down the toll road by 9:45 am
5. f) bathrooms will be available in the Octagon
6. g) in the event of rain, Mass will be offered at Blessed Sacrament Church at 8:30 AM.
