There will be a White Mass for Healthcare Providers celebrated at Sacred Heart St. Francis Church, 238 Main St., Bennington, on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m.
This Mass is for all healthcare providers — doctors, nurses, dentists, therapists, pharmacists and healthcare students.
Wear your white lab coat and bring the family.
Mass will be followed by a reception (food provided) with a talk by Father J. Daniel Mindling who will speak on Catholic teaching in healthcare at the end of life.
Everyone is welcome to attend the reception.
Father Mindling served for 25 years as academic dean of Mount St. Mary’s
Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He is a consultant to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Pro-Life Secretariat and several other USCCB committees, is a consultant to several state Catholic conferences and served on the Maryland State Commission on quality care at the end of life.
