In 2002 Pope John Paul II announced the Annual World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests to be held on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Worldpriest was first established for the evangelization and strengthening of the Catholic faith with the main goal of uniting priests and laity to come together into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
On June 11, 2021, there will be livestream prayer locations from all over the globe praying the Rosary. By midnight the entire world will have been praying for our priests and our Catholic faith. Join Bishop Coyne in praying the Rosary virtually at 2:00 pm. The Diocese of Burlington will be receiving the Rosary from Knock International Eucharistic and Marian Shrine and we will be passing it on to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapocs in Hungary.
