Sister Judy Aubry, OP, will celebrate her 60th jubilee with eight other Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters in 2025. Born to John and Ann (Barrett) Aubry in Ottawa, Ill., she joined the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa in 1965 and received the religious name Sister Alacoque. She received a BS in education from Edgewood College, Madison, Wis., and a Master’s degree in pastoral ministry from Creighton University, Omaha, Neb.

Sister Judy ‘s ministry has been dedicated to education and pastoral ministry. In Wisconsin, she taught at Sacred Heart School, Reedsburg; Blessed Sacrament School, Madison; and St. John Vianney School, Janesville. She served as pastoral minister at St. Jerome Parish, Columbus; Blessed Sacrament Parish, Madison; Queen of Peace Parish, Madison and Our Lady of Assumption, Beloit.  She was also a certified chaplain and did her CPE training at St. Luke Medical Center, Milwaukee. Sister Judy served as pastoral minister at St. Monica Parish, Barre, Vt., and St. Bernard Parish in Saranac Lake, N.Y.  She currently volunteers in the Madison area.
