Mission: To provide a personal, Catholic school community in the heart of Vermont. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph, Mount St. Joseph focuses on the education of the whole person by integrating spiritual development, academics, extra-curricular activities, and community service into everyday life. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Mount St. Joseph students are self-confident and resolute. Our mission is to create a just world.

Ethan Courcelle, a sophomore at Mount St. Joseph Academy, “is one of the kindest and most respectful students I have had in my 12 years at MSJ,” said Michael Audette, director of religious studies. He continued, “He is an outstanding student overall, but a very dedicated student in religious studies. I have never heard Ethan say a mean thing to or about anyone else, and he is just a genuinely caring individual. Ethan also served every single school Mass last year as a ninth grader, from August all the way to the baccalaureate in June. I know Ethan is also very dedicated in his parish and seems to genuinely live out his faith in his everyday life in all he says and does.”
