The Vermont State Knights of Columbus celebrated their 126th convention at Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa on April 26-28 with representation from 23 councils, 41 delegates, and 88 in attendance from throughout Vermont.

During the convention, many celebrations and meetings were on the agenda to help foster brotherhood and remind the Knights of their mission to continue doing acts of charity and service in the Church and their communities.

A Mass was celebrted at Blessed Sacrament Church in Stowe with Monsignor John McDermott, Father Jon Schnobrich, Father Sahaya Paul Sebastian, and Knights of Columbus State Chaplain Father Tim Naples. The 4th Degree Honor Guard processed and recessed down the aisle in honor of this special Mass.

The Knights of Columbus, a Catholic men’s organization founded by Father Michael J. McGivney in 1882 in New Haven, Connecticut, centers its principles on charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

Knights throughout the world generously give of their time and resources to help with food, clothing, toy, and blood drives to help children and families, along with Special Olympics to name a few examples.
