The cycle show is an educational, interactive multi-media fertility awareness workshop for girls aged 9-12. This workshop is a desirable addition to the standard reproductive health education given in schools. The workshop was developed to give young girls knowledge of what is going on inside their bodies in relation to puberty. This knowledge supports and prepares them positively for the wonderful changes they will experience within their bodies over the coming years. Today, it’s more important than ever for young girls to have high self-esteem regarding their bodies, not just when they are in the middle of puberty, but before the onset. Participation in the workshop helps girls value and respect their bodies as they move into their teenage years. The parent presentation is available to equip parents with a thorough understanding of the themes and topics presented in the Cycle Show and allows the conversation to continue at home with solid education and resources.

Saturday, November 4, 9:00 am-2:00 pm (girls aged 9-12)
St. John Vianney Parish Hall, 160 Hinesburg Road, S. Burlington
Cost is $50 per girl (scholarships are available)
