Residential Eldercare Management

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington sponsors four elder care homes in the state of Vermont.

Loretto Home, Rutland

Michaud Memorial Manor, in Derby Line

St. Joseph’s Home, in Burlington

St. Joseph Kervick Residence, Rutland

The eldercare homes are fully licensed by the Vermont Department of Aging and Disability, Division of Licensing and Protection, as a Level III Residential Care Home.* They are authorized to provide room, board, personal care, general supervision, medication management and nursing overview.

*Level III care includes: personal care, general supervision of physical or emotional well-being; medication management; and nursing overview (including observation, assessment, goal setting, supervision, and administration of medication(s), but not full-time nursing care.)

All eldercare homes are equipped with security cameras and resident Lifeline devices with 24/7 personal monitoring.

Enhanced Residential Care enables residents who need a more skilled level of nursing care to be admitted to and or retained in a Level III home.

Each VCC, Inc.  facility operates under the philosophy of holistic care that respects, honors and celebrates the individual dignity and worth of every person, at every stage of life – from conception to natural death.

We invite you to check out each facility's website and then arrange for a personal tour.
