Help for Syrians

HINESBURG--The students in the St. Jude Parish seventh- and eighth-grade religious education classes are raising money to help the people in Syria. All monies will be donated to the Catholic Relief Services. For more information or to donate, call the rectory at 802-482-2290.

History book

WILLIAMSTOWN—Members of St. Edward Church are getting ready to go to print with their “History of St. Edward” book. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of the book, please sign up on the table in the back of the church. There is no set cost for the book; it will be by donation.

Calvary Cemetery Fundraiser

NORTHFIELD—St. John the Evangelist Church has stone pavers for sale to be place in the cemetery. They are 12x12 stone pavers with the family name or “In memory of” a loved one. There are blank order forms in the church vestibule, along with samples. Payment can be made in installments. Call the rectory for details, 485-8313.

‘Exploring our Catholic Faith’

PITTSFORD-- Larry Booker is leading a class on “Exploring our Catholic Faith” each Thursday at 7 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Church. Call him at 483-6870 beforehand to be sure you bring the appropriate items (Bible, rosary, etc.) for class.

Annual Parish Raffle/Spaghetti Dinner

MORETOWN--The annual, gourmet, homemade spaghetti dinner, hosted by Our Lady of the Snows/St. Patrick Parish, will take place in St. Leo Hall in Waterbury on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 5-8 p.m. $9/adults; $6/children ages 6-12; children 5 and under free. Take-out dinners will be available. There will be a “cookie walk” after dinner. The raffle drawing will take place at 7:30 p.m.
