Barre Winter Rally

BARRE--The Barre Winter Rally will take place Feb. 11 and is open to students in grades and parents. It will take place at St. Monica Parish from 4 to 8 p.m. and feature worship leader, Bob Rice. The rally will offer music, activities, dinner, Mass and separate sessions for parents. VERGENNES—The next St. Peter Parish breakfast hosted by the Knights of Columbus will take place on Sunday, Jan. 14, from 8 to 10 a.m. at 85 South Maple St.
The meal will include eggs, omelets to order, hot cakes, French toast, sausage and bacon. Adults $8.50; seniors over 60 $7.50, children 6-12 $6.00, children under 6 years old are free; immediate families of five or more $28. For more information, call the rectory at 877-2367.

Christmas concert

BARRE—The St. Monica-St. Michael School Christmas concert will take place in the school gym on Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. It will celebrate and showcase various aspects of the music program at the school.

Senior Meals

HINESBURG—St. Jude Parish offers lunches to area seniors on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The next senior meal is scheduled for Jan. 23 from noon to 2 p.m. Serving begins at noon. All seniors and caretakers are welcome.

St. Peter’s Clearance Sale

VERGENNES--St. Peter Parish has had a lot of clothes given donated since their last rummage sale and parishioners would like to get them to those who need them. Bring your own bag and fill it to the rim. The cost is by donation. This clearance sale will take place on Saturday, Jan. 13. All are welcome.

Red Cross Blood Drive

HINESBURG—There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive at St. Jude Church on Thursday, Jan. 11, from 12:30 to 6 p.m. There is an urgent need for blood, especially this time of year. Be sure to have your blood donor card, photo ID or two forms of ID.

Addison County Right to Life

MIDDLEBURY—Addison County Right to Life (a chapter of the Vermont Right to Life Committee Inc.) will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, at St. Mary Parish Hall on College Street in Middlebury. Enter via the side door on Shannon Street. The agenda includes election of officers, arrangements for the Rally for Life in Montpelier on Jan. 13 and preliminary planning for the annual dinner. All members are encouraged to attend, and visitors are welcome.

Liturgical Minister Enrichment

VERGENNES—Josh Perry, director of worship for the Diocese of Burlington will lead a day of enrichment for all lectors, Eucharistic ministers and liturgy committee members in the Addison Deanery on Saturday, Jan. 27, at St. Peter Church Parish.
