The fourth annual celebration in honor of St. John Henry Newman will take place Oct. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Holy Family Parish Hall in Essex Junction.

The evening will include Solemn Vespers, dinner and dessert catered by Bill and Midge Rensch and two lectures on the life and thought of Cardinal Newman featuring a visiting professor as well as Father Henry Furman, pastor of St. Michael Parish in Brattleboro.

Chanted Solemn Vespers will be followed by dinner and the two presentations. Formal attire requested. RSVP by Oct. 2 to vermontnewman@gmail.com.

The cost is $15 per person, $25 for two and $10 for each additional guest.
