The Vermont Knights of Columbus celebrated the installation of officers at St. Anne’s Shrine at Isle LaMotte Aug. 27. State Chaplain and State Faithful Friar Father Timothy Naples was the celebrant of the Mass. Deacon Armand Auclair of All Saints Parish in Richford assisted Father Naples.

The following state officers will serve for the fraternal year ending June 30, 2024: James Michael (state seputy), Christopher Poirier (state secretary), Peter Fitzgerald (state sreasurer), Elijah LaChance (state advocate), William LaCroix (state warden), and Father Naples (state chaplain).  The following district deputies were also installed to lead the various districts in Vermont:  Michael Patnode (District 1), George Piette (District 2), William LaCroix (District 3), Christopher Poirier (District 4), Joseph Kelly (District 5), Richard Powell (District 6), William Scott (District 7), Thomas Ronning (District 8), and Sean Riley (District 9).

After the celebration, a family barbeque luncheon was hosted by District 1 (Fairfax, Milton, Richford, St. Albans, and Swanton).

District Deputy 1 Michael Patnode said, “What a successful day for all!  Great attendance, by far one of the largest crowds in years! Thank you to everyone for making this such a great success!”

State Secretary Christopher Poirier added, “It was a wonderful and inspiring afternoon at the shrine surrounded by many brother Knights recommitting themselves to another year of faithful service as state officers and district deputies. This is the core leadership team that sets the direction for the Knights of Columbus in Vermont.”
