ACTIVITY
Make Resurrection Eggs. Number a set of plastic eggs 1 – 12 and put an object in each which can be used to illustrate the Passion story. Be creative! Some examples are: a “palm” cut from a silk flower leaf, a cracker representing the unleavened bread of the Last Supper, three dimes for the thirty pieces of silver, a thorn from a bush from your yard, a carpenter’s nail from the garage work bench, a crucifix from a broken rosary, spices from your kitchen for “embalming” and a stone from the driveway to roll in front of the tomb. Once assembled, the eggs can be used to tell the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

ACTIVITIES
Monday: Spread some love. Reach out to someone you haven’t spoken to or spent time with in a while. This may mean intentionally spending time with someone in your own home, or calling a family member or friend who is alone. Be fully present to them, giving the gift of your time and letting them know you care.
Tuesday: Spend time outside in God’s creation. Take a walk as a family or simply spend time in the yard, breathing in the fresh air and being reminded of God’s presence. While outside, look for signs of re-birth and new life, pray the Rosary, and be filled with hope.
Wednesday: Make a donation. On the day that Judas made a bargain to betray Jesus for money, choose to use your money for good. As a family, select a cause that is meaningful to you; the amount given will be different for every family, yet every bit makes a difference and honors God.
